I try new things, even when I'm not sure I will succeed.
I bring all my equipment to class including my pencil case, books and charged device.
I look after the equipment in the classroom.
I ask for feedback to improve my work.
I set high goals for my learning.
I don’t distract others from their learning.
I use a murmur voice when I am working.
I have a positive attitude.
I listen to the ideas that are shared in class, even if I don’t agree with them.
I treat mistakes as an opportunity to improve.
I accept feedback and use it to improve.
I bring my P.E gear on days when I have P.E or sport.
I ask for help when I get stuck.
I don’t settle for the easy pass, I put in the effort.
I am a Year 8 student in the Uru Mānuka Cluster. This is a place where I will share my learning. Please note that some of it will not be complete, it will be my first drafts. Remember to be positive, thoughtful and helpful when you leave a comment.

CARR
In Hur 1 we have been learning about Commitment, Achievement, Resilience and Respect. Commitment means that if you were meant to do something but there is a really fun thing today instead you still stick to the thing you said you would do first. Achievement means that when you do any of your work you do it at the best you can. Resilience means that even if you are sad or angry and annoyed you still try your best at what ever you are doing. Respect means to acknowledge that your actions and words can in packed other people and to care about other peoples ideas and thoughts.
I arrive on time to class.
